Hello KAD4U

I know this is the wrong forum for this kind of question, but I didn't know who to ask in this short notice. I recently saw GODAVARI at Edison, NJ. The movie was fabulous and the sound system in that small theater was also very good (dolby digital with good surround sound).

Now, my parents and other family members want to see the movie, but the movie is now being showed at NORTH BERGEN, NJ. I recently saw BANGARAM at North bergen, NJ. The sound was lousy. They were just using the front channel (0nly 1 speaker) for the entire movie. Horrible experience.

As I have to drive about an hour to get to the theater, I just want to make sure, it is worth my gas price and ticket rate. Is GODAVARI being shown with a dolby digital or just mono speaker. can somebody please get back to me ASAP.

I am soo sorry for the wrong post in the wrong forum

Thanks

Post this in the "TeluguDVD quality & Customer expectations" thread. I posted similar problems. I decided not to go to any Telugu movie if the theater isn't within 20minutes, unless someone can assure us in advance about the sound. As for theaters within 20 minutes, if the sound is crappy, I'm going to get a refund and walk out. I just don't care anymore.

Hello Kad/friends

Godavari was a truly memorable experience even the second time around at North bergen. The sound was truly fantastic.

When it came to Bangaram, I think the print itself was the problem. The distributor probably only got the Mono version of the audio. Sucks for them.

Coming to Godavari, it has been years since I felt like watching a movie for the third time after coming out of the theatre. Sekhar Kummula has crafted truly a gem of a movie. SO REFRESHING.

Can't wait till it comes out on DVD. Given a chance, I would see this movie in a theater near me,

The current North Bergen theaters have good sound.  I would think any problems are in general with the print

I agree, Godavari is really good.
